If you’re anything like me… sometimes, your heart aches and you don’t even know why. Loneliness. Rejection. Fear. Insecurity. Self-hatred. Defeat. It’s so easy to fall into destructive thought patterns, believing that you are worthless, unlovable, not good enough.
But, I am here to tell you that these are LIES from the pit of hell. The enemy’s intentions are always to steal, kill and destroy. But there is One who came to GIVE LIVE, to SANCTIFY, to REDEEM.
That One is Jesus Christ.
Jesus died so that you would have FREEDOM. Freedom from death, but also freedom from your spiritual bondage. Freedom from a life of oppression; believing the enemy’s lies. If you continue to live in fear, insecurity and self-rejection, it is as if you are saying that Jesus’ death isn’t enough. Oh, but it is.
The next time you are tempted to believe the voices that bring destruction, make a conscious choice to ACT – Abolish. Confess. Turn.
Abolish the negative thought patterns that you’re entertaining.
Confess that you have believed the lies of the enemy and that you need God’s Strength to renew your mind.
Turn your eyes to God, His Word and His Truth about who you are in Christ.
There is a spiritual battle raging around us at all times. We must stand up in our IDENTITY as sons of God and CLAIM His Victory over death, deception and darkness. What does Scripture say about our Victory in Christ?
– I am more than a conqueror through Him who loved me – Romans 8:37
– I am submitted to God, and the devil flees from me because I resist him in the Name of Jesus – James 4:7
– I show forth the praises of God Who has called me out of darkness into His marvelous light – 1 Peter 2:9
– I have the Greater One living in me; greater is He Who is in me than he who is in the world – 1 John 4:4
Let go of the lies you are holding onto so tightly and lay them at the foot of the Cross. God desires to bring restoration; to transform you through the renewing of your mind. When you surrender the deepest aches of your heart to Him, He will replace the lies that destroy with His Truth that brings Life. In Him you are Victorious. You are Redeemed. You are Free.
